The Immanuel iYouth will be teaming with the youth group from St. Peter’s UCC in Ferguson for a couple of events in July!
First, we are planning on doing an in-town Mission Trip on July 27th, 28th, and 29th. We will be staying overnights at Immanuel in the youth room and fireside room (boys and girls separated overnight). During the day we will visit some local charities/organizations and help out as needed. We are still locking down the actual sites but we are hoping to visit a local food pantry, Every Child’s Hope, and possibly Emmaus homes. In the evenings we will gather back at Immanuel for meals and fellowship.
We are going to be in need of at least one female chaperone who can stay in the female room during the overnights. Also, if your child can’t do the overnight part of the trip but would still like to participate during the day we can absolutely make that work! Anyone who has been confirmed up through 12th grade is welcome to join us on this trip.
On Saturday, July 30th we will wrap up our Mission Trip with a trip to Six Flags! The iYouth will cover half of the cost for each participant (full price is $40) and will provide the transportation to and from church and the park. Again, if you can’t do the Mission Trip but would still like to join us for Six Flags, you are more than welcome.
